Executive Summary
Signum designed a storybook folder for Therma-Tru, the leading manufacturer of fiberglass and steel exterior door systems. The company sought to develop a field sales tool which would enable sales representatives to deliver a consistent brand message.
Our solution was a Systems Storyboard that visually communicated the Therma-Tru System Value Proposition. The Storyboards allowed sales representatives to visually guide prospects through the features and benefits of Therma-Tru’s system. This positively contributed to sales success and revenue.
Opportunity
Sales representatives lacked the tools to consistently deliver an effective presentation of Therma-Tru’s key selling points. Monitoring representatives in the field is a difficult and time-consuming task; therefore, a visual aid was needed to ensure the brand’s message and value proposition was being consistently and effectively communicated. Introducing a “toolkit” to provide support in the field for sales representatives would address this need.

Results
The Storyboard was exactly what Therma-Tru’s field sales representatives needed in their tool kit. It was so popular with the sales team that the initial order almost completely sold out in the pre-sale. Within the first 6 months of its availability, three orders were placed.
